Post-Secondary Scholarship Applications Open!
Aspire 2 HealAspire 2 Heal is proud to award five scholarships of $800 each to eligible youth impacted by parental incarceration. These scholarships support their journey into post-secondary education — whether in health-related fields or studies that address the Social Determinants of Health.
Because education is a right, not a privilege, Aspire 2 Heal is committed to helping young people turn aspirations into opportunities and challenges into pathways for healing and growth.
This initiative is funded by:
- See Different Changemaker Grant (sponsored by See Different – CCDI)
- Race to an Inclusive Canada Changemaker Grant (sponsored by Weston Frontlines / FrontlinesTO)
- Community Justice Transformation Grant (sponsored by Canadian Friends Service Committee)
Together, these grants provide $5,300 to support youth of incarcerated parents.
Applications are open until December 15, 2025 @ 11:59pm EST (with the possibility of extension).
Applicants can expect questions on demographic reporting and their experience as a youth with an incarcerated parent or a parent released within the last 10 years. For questions about eligibility or the application process, please encourage applicants to reach out to aspire2heal@outlook.com, 289-312-4003, or @aspire2heal.
