EASTERN HUB

YouthREX’s Eastern Hub supports grassroots organizations working in Leeds and Grenville, Ottawa, Prescott and Russell, Lanark, Haliburton,
Northumberland, Frontenac, Renfrew, Durham, Stormont, Prince Edward County, Kawartha Lakes, Dundas and Glengarry, Lennox and Addington, Hastings, and Peterborough

Eastern Ontario has a population of nearly two million and makes up 15% of Ontario’s total population.

The Eastern Region is made up of seaway, agricultural areas and a combination of rural and urban populations.

Those under 25 years make up more than 30% of the population. Almost half of that group are aged 5-14.
