NORTHWESTERN HUB

YouthREX’s Northwestern Hub supports grassroots organizations working in Rainy River, Kenora, and Thunder Bay

Northwestern Ontario has an Aboriginal population of over 15%, much higher than the provincial Aboriginal population of 2%

Northwestern Ontario has 65 First Nations, Thunder Bay's close proximity to these First Nations makes it a hub for the region, providing education, health care, justice services, etc.

47% of students in Thunder Bay high schools are Aboriginal
