Does your program make a difference? Are your program participants and volunteers satisfied? How do you know?

This workshop provides a hands-on overview of program evaluation basics. We will discuss evaluation within the context of youth-focused programming, explain the importance of evaluation for program improvement, and offer practical youth program evaluation tips and strategies. This workshop will help participants:

Understand and improve your comfort with the language and concepts of research and evaluation.

Understand your organizations capacity to undertake evaluation and to understand your programs logic model.

Measure and evaluate your program’s benefits and effects.

Communicate the impact of your program to stakeholders and funders in effective and creative ways.

Refine and improve your program based on evaluation/research outcomes.

To help you get the most out of this workshop, we recommend that you come to the session with a program to work on. We want to make sure that you have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills to a program that matters to you! Bring your questions, bring your colleagues, and join us for an informative and interactive day with YouthREX.
