You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. – Martin Luther King

Nnali is a vibrant young lady from Toronto, Ontario. Her interests include cooking, gardening, and caring for others. She is currently preparing to enter her final undergraduate year studying social work at Ryerson University. Nnali has past experience in community-based research (CCBR) through her involvement with the Assets Coming Together (ACT) for Youth project where she was a student in their CBR summer program. She went on to co-chair a conference that explored the importance of youth in research as more than subjects, and the non-traditional ways that youth can conduct their own research.

Nnali currently works with Toronto Community Housing’s Revitalization and Renewal Communities team where she works with families and individuals who are undergoing transitions in their housing. Nnali is the third of four children. She is kind-hearted, generous, and enjoys quiet time spent with herself.
