5 years ago 5 years ago Published by Leave your thoughts

The article examines major integration challenges confronting Black Francophone refugee and immigrant youth in Ontario. It states that most of the youth group’s concerns are on language, racism, and violence. It reports that some of the difficulties they endure are associated with their immigration status. Meanwhile, it claims that their limited proficiency in the English language makes it difficult for them to communicate with the Ontario society. The situation is made more complex for the youth group who raised the issue of rising violence in the school setting.
