YouthREX Project Update: April 01, 2017

by Uzo Anucha April 18, 2017

“The Ministry of Children and Youth Services shares YouthREX’s unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of at-risk youth and supports your vision of an Ontario where shared knowledge is transformed into positive impact for all youth.” – Honourable Michael Coteau, Minister of Children and Youth Services

For most non-profit organizations, the dates March 31st and April 01st mark the end and beginning of a new fiscal year – a sort of December 31st and January 01st for our sector.

For YouthREX, this year’s March 31 was also the end of our two and half year contract in our partnership with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS).

As we begin a new three year contract in this partnership that is driven by our vision of “an Ontario where shared knowledge is transformed into positive impact for all youth,” we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has been part of our story and reflect on some highlights from our work thus far.

We would also like to share our beginning thoughts on where we will be focusing our efforts in this next phase, which we are calling YouthREX 2.0

Please click here to read our full project update from our Provincial Academic Director, Uzo Anucha.

We look forward to continuing our journey with you!
