We know that all organizations are unique, have different histories, and work in different contexts. Learn how we collaborated with these organizations to fill in the gaps so they could amplify their engagement with youth more meaningfully.

Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G)

A7G is an Indigenous youth-led, youth-driven non-profit organization located on the traditional lands of the Algonquin Anishinabeg people, also known as Ottawa, Ontario. A7G focuses on cultural support and empowerment programs/policies for Indigenous youth while being led by traditional knowledge and Elder guidance.

Better Beginnings Better Futures

Better Beginnings Better Futures is a prevention program for high-risk communities. The Sudbury Better Beginnings Better Futures’ holistic model provides child-centred activities and community development in the Flour Mill/Donovan neighbourhood.

Community Music Schools of Toronto is a registered charity that gives children and youth a rich and rewarding music and social education, by removing the financial obstacle.

LIGHT
Lead, Inspire, Grow, Hope, Transform

LIGHT is a grassroot organization serving as an incubator of passion, fostering youth-led innovation for marginalized adolescents by providing opportunities to design community service projects that meet the changing needs of our immediate environment.

Provincial Youth Outreach Worker Program

The Youth Outreach Worker Program is a prevention and intervention program that focuses on youth with risk factors who live in an identified priority community and/or belong to a distinct priority population (e.g. Black, Indigenous, Racialized, including Somali, Roma, 2SLGBTQIA). These youth may experience increased barriers in accessing the opportunities that can help them to develop their capacity to make healthy life choices and achieve their goals.

The Reading Partnership

The Reading Partnership works with local partners and parents to promote and improve literacy in the communities that need it the most.

Visions of Science

Visions of Science Network for Learning Inc. is a charitable organization that aims to advance the educational achievements and positive development of youth from low-income and marginalized communities through meaningful engagement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields and research.
