Practicum Student Opportunity – Naseeha Mental Health

Are you currently enrolled in a mental health or social services related degree? Are you interested in completing your placement in an organization dedicated to serving the Muslim community? Are you passionate about mental health?

Naseeha Mental Health is now taking applications for students to complete their placement hours beginning in September 2024!

Apply by sending over your resume and cover letter to Areefah Dukhi at areefah.dukhi@naseeha.net along with your school requirements and any other related details. Under her leadership, you’ll help grow Naseeha through various initiatives including through counselling, content development, research, workshops and program evaluation.

Notes:
▪ Required intersectional understanding of mental health in the muslim community and or/lived experience.
▪ Remote placements available.
▪ Positions open only to students residing in Canada.
▪ Example post-secondary programs may include but are not limited to: Social work, community health, mental health/addictions counselling & psychology.
