Feedback on Sacred Fire Ceremonial Space
City of TorontoA new community recreation centre is coming to Sorauren Park, near Lansdowne Ave and Dundas St West.
Through engagement with Indigenous youth and community, a Sacred Fire Ceremonial Space was requested outside of the new Community Recreation Centre.
You can review and provide your feedback on the proposed design for the new, permanent Sacred Fire Ceremonial Space, and the new Community Recreation Centre. Your feedback will be used to revise and finalize the designs.
Provide feedback in multiple ways:
- Online Survey: June 7 to July 9, 2023
- In-Person Sorauren Park Pop-Ups: If you are part of an Indigenous community group/organization and would like the project team to host an in-person pop-up for your community members or patrons, please email alex.lavasidis@toronto.
ca. Dates and locations of public popups are still to be determined and will be shared on the project webpage found here. - Review the designs on the project webpage or on YouTube and email your feedback to alex.lavasidis@toronto.ca.
