Black Youth Leadership Certificate Program

Urban Alliance on Race Relations presents the Black Youth Leadership Certificate Program. This program is a four-part workshop series that highlights the ways in which leadership skills can be applied in both school and society.

During this program we will discuss important topics such as what it means to be a leader, navigating the education system, community outreach and conflict resolution. This program aims to equip Black youth in grades 7 to 12 with the necessary skills to excel within the education system and outside of it. Our leadership certificate program will not only be a place of learning but a safe place for Black youth to feel comfortable to have conversations about things that are unique to their lived experience.

After completion, participants will be given a leadership certificate as well as $100 to take community action!
