Call for Submissions: This is Us – Anthology of Second-Generation Voices

Are you a racialized second-generation youth (child of immigrants) in Ontario, between the ages of 15 and 30? Here’s your chance to share your story!

This is Us is a community-based anthology created to highlight second-generation youth’s unique and collective voices. Selected submissions will be published and shared widely. The anthology will be published open access and made available free of cost both online and in limited hardcopy.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submit a 250–500-word piece of poetry or prose

• Focus on your experiences as a racialized child of immigrants

• Open to youth ages 15–30 (parental/guardian consent required if under 18)

Deadline: November 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
