Context and Fear of Social Situations
Toronto Metropolitan UniversityOlivia Provost-Walker, a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University, is seeking participants for a study: Context and Fear of Social Situations.
Olivia is recruiting participants who:
- identify as a Black woman (including Black women who also identify as trans or gender expansive)
- are between the ages of 18 and 29
- are residing in Canada
- are able to speak, write, and read in English
- experience fear or anxiety in social situations
This study involves completing a 10- to 15-minute screening questionnaire to determine eligibility.
If eligible, they will ask you to complete a 20- to 30-minute online task, for which you will read stories paired with images and answer brief questions about your reactions. After this task, you will be asked to complete a 20- to 30-minute questionnaire about your identity, thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences.
If eligible, you can receive a $20 e-gift card of your choice for your participation.
