Lessons of Care from Community

This panel invites community arts practitioners Julian Diego of SKETCH Working Arts, and Rinchen Dolma, founder of Made in Exile, to discuss modalities of care when working intimately with youth, seniors, and the community. This panel asks: what lessons from the community can we take to reconfigure institutional frameworks of labour, relationships, and time? How does the ecosystem of a neighborhood, the principles of transformative justice, and the intimacy of working with the community guide organizational leadership?

The panel is moderated by Annie Wong, the Curator of Programming and Public Engagement at Gallery TPW.
