Muslim Youth Fellowship
Urban Alliance on Race RelationsThe Muslim Youth Fellowship is a leadership development program for Muslim youth. The fellowship provides a foundational understanding of the political process in local governance while building critical and transferable skills in engaging the wider Muslim community.
As part of a paid internship, MYF will hire and train Muslim youth. Moreover, fellows will work as part-time Councilor Aides for 12 hours per week over the course of the 12-week placement. Fellows will be matched based on their skills and interests as well as the needs of each participating Member of the Council’s Office.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in/recently completed a university degree (or equivalent)
- Flexible weekday availability for the duration of the placement (August to November 2023) for 12 hours
- Eligible to work in Canada
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, and will remain open until all spots are filled. The application deadline is July 14, 2023.
