Ontario Nature Youth Council: Applications Open

Ontario Nature is now accepting applications for high school youth to join the 2025-2026 Youth Council cohort.

Members of the Ontario Nature Youth Council will:

• Work alongside Ontario Nature staff, become part of a vibrant peer network, and contribute to lasting, positive change through conservation action.
• Take action on conservation issues including wetland protection, pollinator awareness, habitat restoration, and advocating for biodiversity.
• Plan and host events including Our Special Spaces (conservation volunteering events), outreach, workshops, webinars, and the annual Youth Summit for Mother Earth.
• Raise awareness about environmental issues, acting as a voice for a young generation.
• Receive volunteer hours for obtaining your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

To apply, youth must be high school-aged and located in Ontario. The deadline to apply is December 7, 2025. Contact emilyg@ontarionature.org with any questions.
