The State of Youth Report captures the realities, challenges, and aspirations of young people in Canada. It’s based on input from youth across the country and plays a critical role in shaping federal policies and programs that impact your life.
The report aims to reflect the diverse experiences of youth from various backgrounds—Indigenous youth, racialized youth, 2SLGBTQI+ youth, youth with disabilities, and youth in rural communities.
The first State of Youth Report was released in 2021, and the second will be published in 2025. This new report will address the evolving challenges facing youth today, such as changes in the job market, mental health, climate concerns, and more.
Your responses are anonymous, confidential, securely stored, and protected under the Privacy Act.
