Programs for Black 2SLGBTQ+ Youth – Workshop Series

The East Mississauga Community Health Centre has launched a series of workshops that are specifically designed for Black 2SLGBTQ+ Youth (aged 18-29) who live in Peel Region.

Our upcoming session is on Saturday July 22, 2024 from 5-8 PM, and will be located at Mississauga Valley Community Centre (1275 Mississauga Valley Boulevard).  This friendly volleyball and basketball session is open to youth of all skill levels, and will be a fun, inclusive opportunity to get to know youth in the area.  Youth are encouraged to play, but are also invited to join in whichever way is safe and supportive for them.  Pizza will be served during the session.

Additionally, there is a range of workshops for Black 2SLGBTQAI+ youth (aged 18 to 29) that are inclusive, empowering, and affirming! By focusing on art, movement, sexual health, and financial wellness, you will not only gain personal growth but also build a supportive community that uplifts and celebrates every participant’s identity.
