Racial Justice in Education Summit

Join the Urban Alliance on Race Relations to discuss anti-racism initiatives within school boards and to identify practices that make our school boards more inclusive. The event will include panel discussions, keynote speeches and resource sharing. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Topics will explore ways to confront anti-Black racism, Islamophobia, anti-Asian racism and other forms of racism and Xenophobia.

Expecting at least a hundred leaders and thinkers in the educational community to be there.

The event will be in partnership with Ontario Alliance of Black School Educators (ONABSE), Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter (CCNCTO), Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) and Tamil Canadian Centre for Civic Action (TCCCA).

Registration is set at a cost of $75.00 per person. If anyone has financial difficulties in paying for the summit, there is a limited number of subsidies available. Please email info@urbanalliance.ca to submit your request.
