Research Participants Needed: Immigrant Teens with Autistic Siblings
Bohr Lab, York UniversityThe Bohr Lab at York University is conducting a research study led by Khad Bint Misbah, M.A., a doctoral student, to better understand the experiences of immigrant teens aged 12–20 who have a sibling diagnosed with autism.
This study aims to amplify the voices of youth growing up alongside autistic siblings and explore their unique perspectives. Participants will receive $50 for their time.
Participation Includes:

A relaxed, 30-minute Zoom chat

A brief set of questionnaires (5 minutes)
Eligibility:

Aged 12–20

Have at least one sibling with an autism diagnosis

Born outside of Canada
This study has been reviewed and approved by the York University Research Ethics Board (STU 2024-118).
