Self-Care in the Black Community Course
CAMHThe Collaborative Learning College at CAMH is hosting a Self-Care in the Black Community course! This course will explore the intersection of Blackness, self-care and mental health. We will unpack systemic challenges, including employment disparities and racism, while highlighting the unique mental health issues facing Black communities. The course aims to breakdown stigma and offer practical self-care strategies, alongside available resources for navigating mental health challenges.
Please Note: This class is intended to be a space for Black students only.
Facilitator: R.J. Foster is a small business owner who was born and raised in Toronto. He has worked in customer service, security, and in film & television. He is passionate about promoting good lifestyle choices relative to Mental Health in the Black community.
