Urban Alliance on Race RelationsWe are calling ALL Educators, Students, Parents, Guardians, Trustees, Social Workers, Human Rights Education Advisors (HREAs), Guidance Counsellors, Graduation Coaches, Student and Family Advocates, System Navigators, and Union Representatives to attend this community webinar on the Dreams Delayed report.
This session will:
- summarize key findings, including systemic failures, Black student needs, and recommended solutions
- identify advocates and supporters within schools (e.g., Graduation Coaches, Human Rights Advisors, Community Supports) tasked with dismantling barriers and advocating for families and students
- clarify accountability: who is responsible for implementing the report’s actions? (sign a letter to Minister of Education Paul Calandra about your concerns, questions, and demands)
- provide access: learn where to find the full report and how to use it
Leave empowered with tools to hold institutions accountable and ensure Black students thrive. Together, we can turn recommendations into reality.
