This webinar will explore how creative practices can open new pathways to healing, connection, and belonging for immigrant and refugee families. It will feature two community-based teams — HEAL in Toronto and Art et contes in Montreal — who use arts-based interventions to support families at risk of experiencing gender-based violence.
The session will include visual storytelling, reflections from program facilitators, and insights into how arts-based approaches can enhance well-being, foster resilience, and promote integration and belonging in community settings.
This webinar may be of interest to practitioners working in gender-based violence prevention, newcomer and refugee family support, arts-based programming, and trauma-informed community care.
