HERE’S HOW THE CREATORS DESCRIBE THIS VIDEO:

This video is the recording of a webinar hosted on November 21, 2019. Download the webinar slides.

The webinar explored a national definition of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and how mentoring can contribute to young people’s social emotional development. Presenters discussed successful strategies of integrating the Search Institute Developmental Assets Framework into a mentoring strategy and assessing SEL progress in program evaluation.

This webinar is part of the Collaborative Mentoring Webinar Series, which is funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention through the National Mentoring Resource Center and facilitated in partnership with MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership. These webinars would not be possible without the planning team, which includes MENTOR Independence Region, MENTOR Indiana, MENTOR Colorado, MENTOR North Carolina, MENTOR Vermont, and MENTOR Washington.
