Between Homes: Displacement and Belonging for Second-Generation Filipino-Canadian Youths

We have conducted focus groups with a small number (twenty-six) of first- and second-generation Filipino youths in order to hear their stories of dislocation and home-making. This paper documents this process and, thus, should not be looked at as standing apart from the play written and performed by the Ugnayan ng Kabataang Filipino sa Canada/Filipino-Canadian Youth Alliance but, rather, as another example of UKPC/FCYA’s organizing work.
