Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)! Applications are now open!

Good Neighbors Canada is excited to announce the relaunch of its Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)! Applications are now open for the forthcoming term, which shall run from September 2023 – April 2024 inclusive. The current Executive Team have been working hard on crafting a valuable series of fundraising events, networking and training opportunities, and inter-weaving YAC programming with holidays and UN-recognized dates that crop up throughout the year, such that the 2023-24 cohort will have plenty of opportunities for personal growth. While the YAC’s primary objective will remain fundraising and amplifying the work of Good Neighbors Canada, there will also be significant benefits added for members for the upcoming term – including professional development opportunities, experiential learning and monthly virtual workshops.

Interested youth can review the YAC’s new information document (GNCA-YAC Overview and Application Instructions), which outlines the YAC’s eligibility criteria, commitment requirements and plan for the coming year. Should anyone wish to place an application, they can do so via this form until the deadline of 11.59pm EDT on Sunday, September 17th.
