Call for Community Researchers

The Reading Partnership

Family and Community Literacy Research Project: A focus on urban low-income Black families in Canada.

The Reading Partnership (TRP) and the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation (CCLF) have undertaken a research project to understand the experiences of Black families who are living on low incomes in urban areas of Canada and want to help their children learn to read. The project seeks to learn about the assets that families bring to the task, the challenges they experience, and the solutions being proposed by families and their community support networks.
