Participate in a University of Toronto Survey on Racial Microaggressions in Human Service Organizations
University of TorontoTolulola (Tolu) Taiwo-Hanna, a PhD candidate in the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto, is inviting front-line staff, administrative staff, managers, and executive leaders working in human service organizations to participate in a survey on racial microaggressions in the workplace. The study aims to better understand how racial microaggressions occur and how they can be addressed within human service organizational settings. No prior expertise in anti-racism or racial microaggressions is required.
The survey explores how visible minority and racialized staff perceive workplace experiences related to microaggressions. No identifying information about participants or workplaces will be collected. Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and responses will only be reported in aggregate form. The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, and participants may withdraw at any time by closing the survey.
As a token of appreciation, participants may choose to enter one of ten draws for a $25 e-gift card to a local grocery store. Participants may also opt to receive a copy of the study findings.
