The Dream Journey Cohort

The Dream Journey Cohort is an 8-week virtual creative writing incubator for QBIPOC writers ages 18+, centered around dream exploration, decolonizing our creativity and magic mediumship through writing.

Following The ReiQueer’s D.R.E.A.M theory, each week is dedicated to a different form of creative writing, while we unpack how white supremacy has impacted our relationship to desire, rest, energy and abundance. Types of creative writing explored include: poetry, mantra writing, ancestral journalling and more.

This program will be done through a trauma-informed and pleasure-centered approach that will be delivered primarily online through 2 hour weekly sessions that will have: writing workshops, activities, discussions, shared-reading, writing-sharing and more.

Sessions start July 30th, 2023 and will happen weekly every Sunday from 5PM-7PM.

Participants will also receive dream-journey wellness and sleep-aid kits with resources and tools (including The Dream Journey Manual, self-care items, dream journal and more), as well as a weekly treat fund.

The final week of the program will be an in-person showcase, where participants have the opportunity to perform their original writing.
