Border(ing) Practices (University of Toronto & University of Victoria)Were you involved with child welfare (CAS) as a racialized youth?
Voicing Resistance invites Toronto youth to share their story through art and conversation.
Who can participate? You are eligible to participate if you:
- are a racialized youth between the ages of 18 and 30
- were born outside of Canada OR lived with family who were not Canadian citizens when CAS was involved
- can speak conversational English
All genders welcome!
What will you do?
- You can join a creative workshop with a trained artist to imagine a fearless future:
*WHEN: October 26th, 2025
*WHERE: Downtown Toronto (near St. George TTC)
*free food & gift for your time
OR
- You can take part in a one-on-one interview to share your story and reflect on your experience.
Your privacy matters!
- No need to share your name or immigration status.
- Participation is completely voluntary.
- Your information will be kept private and secure.
