HERE’S HOW THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE THIS FACTSHEET:
Ethnic bullying is intending to harm someone because of their race or culture. Bullies who hide behind racially-motivated beliefs and attitudes are still bullies. In fact, law enforcement may consider racially-motivated bullying to be a hate crime and they may prosecute.
It is important to be sensitive to the experiences of those who may be targets of racially-motivated bullying, and to look for any signs of racial intolerance that may be exhibited or experienced by children or youth. Check out this fact sheet to learn more.
