The Space We Make: For Safe Language

HERE’S HOW THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE THIS FACTSHEET:
We make space for being real.
We make space for learning how to create environments that are safe and supported.
We make space where stigma doesn’t get air time.
We make space in workplaces, communities, classrooms, homes, and quiet corners.
And we make space for ourselves.
Because mental health matters. And the way we care for it? That’s in the space we make. The words and energy between us. It’s the systems we build, the policies we push, the silence we break, and the care we choose again and again and again.
This factsheet outlines tips for how to use respectful language when talking about mental health.
