The Canadian Mental Health Association and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health recently partnered to deliver the third webinar in a nine-part series on the Working with Children and Youth with Complex Mental Health Needs Project.

This infographic is a simplified map of the pathways between the youth criminal justice system and the mental health system for youth aged 12 to 17. Each young person’s case is very different, and some journeys through the system will not be reflected here. This system map is meant only as a general overview.
