University students are faring the best in the job market, even during times of recession. TD Canada looks at how the business cycle is one of the main factors affecting current youth unemployment numbers, and how the economic recession has weighed most notably on the youngest segments of the working-age population. While many youth in Canada today are encountering challenges finding a foothold in the job market, this is not a recent phenomenon and those with higher education have the best chances for success in the job market.
