Joseph Boyden is a successful Métis author in Canada and abroad. His first three novels – Three Day Road, Through Black Spruce, and The Orenda – have all won several awards, and we was named to the Order of Canada in 2015. Joseph is open to discussing some of his darker times as a youth.
