HERE’S HOW THE CREATORS DESCRIBE THIS VIDEO:

True North is a project featuring video interviews with three active members and serving the Indigenous community of Toronto. Landy Anderson has been a child protection worker in several Children’s Aid Societies in Ontario and is also an active foster parent, having fostered over 100 teenagers over the past 10 years. Danny Beaton is a native environmentalist and healer who has been working in environmental protection for over 25 years. Elwood Jimmy is an artist and curator who leads community-based workshops for Indigenous youth at Red Pepper Spectacle Arts in Toronto and is associate programmer at Planet in Focus Film Festival.
