This webinar explained how art jams – collaborative and improvisational art-making gatherings – can support youth organizations with evaluation, communication, and advocacy. Michel Lévesque, a community art educator and PhD student in the Faculty of Education, University of Alberta, and Lisa Barleben, YouthREX Eastern Regional Hub Manager, walk you through how to design and facilitate an art jam. Lisa and Michel share an art jam model, apply the model as an example, and discuss how artworks from art jams can be used in communication and advocacy.
