Accepting Nominations for Education Innovations

People for Education wants to spotlight real-life examples of education innovations taking place in Canada and around the world with the hope of inspiring systems, policymakers, and individuals to collectively reimagine and drive change in education. We are looking for innovations that go beyond tinkering – that are examples of school communities that have transformed in ways that support cross-sector collaboration, truly engage students, ensure greater equity, and keep pace with the social, economic, and technological change happening in the world around us.

Do you know of an innovation taking place in a school or school system, a community, city, or country? If so, we want to hear about it!

Once we have gathered a list of nominees, we will select 5 innovations each year to spotlight through our communication channels. We hope this will help draw more attention to these innovations and provide much needed insight for policy development and systems change in education.
