Job Title: Program Facilitator
Hourly wage: $25 – $32 per hour
Contract: This role will require you to facilitate our program to several different institutions throughout the week. The majority of our workshops are run throughout the work day, but may sometimes be during the evening or weekend.
Supervisor: Coordinator of Mentoring Programs
Location: Hybrid/Flexible – will have to travel within GTHA

Program Facilitator Roles and Responsibilities 
Description: The Program Facilitator will be an experienced professional with a good knowledge of leadership, building resilience and development for at risk and vulnerable youth. As Program Facilitator, your primary role is to update and co-facilitate evidence-informed leadership workshops and training for participants who are in conflict with the criminal justice system.

The Program Facilitator will demonstrate adherence and commitment to the values, goals, and mission of DYL.

Direct Your Life Organization is a non-profit in Ontario run by mentors with lived experience navigating the criminal justice system. Our objective is to prevent incarceration and recidivism among at-risk youth and recently released people in the Black community. The program facilitator is responsible for working with at-risk communities (adults & youth who are in conflict with the justice system), facilitate workshops in various institutions, develop rapport with clients, provide clients with employment, education, housing, etc. supports. They will demonstrate and commit to Direct Your Life’s values, goals, and mission.
