Young South Asian Women’s Employment Survey

South Asian and Tamil Women’s Collective is leading an important research project exploring the structural barriers that exist for young South Asian and Tamil Women and gender diverse communities entering the workforce, with the aim of generating policy recommendations to advocate for dignified work and culturally relevant career supports for racialized women in Canada.

This research project is looking at the career development and employment needs of young South Asian and Tamil women, and gender diverse individuals. Participants must meet the following requirements:

• Be within the age range of 18-30 years old
• Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status
• Identify as South Asian and/or Tamil
• Self-identify as a woman or gender diverse individual
• Attend school, be working, or unemployed
• Live in York Region, Peel, Durham, or Toronto
