HERE’S HOW THE CREATORS DESCRIBE THIS TOOLKIT:

The Girl Consultation Research Toolkit is a guide for individuals or organizations who wish to speak directly to girls in poverty. It includes a selection of tools to help hear from girls, understand their lives, uncover the issues and challenges they face, and gather their opinions on how they want the world to change. This toolkit provides guidance to set up a workshop, run activities, and analyze findings. It can be adapted as required to suit different requirements. Each of the tools outlined can be used either together or on their own. It was developed for a Nike Foundation and 2CV project to hear from adolescent girls living in poverty to inform the Girl Declaration – a call to action to embed adolescent girls in the post-2015 development agenda. The information included here has been tested with over 500 adolescent girls in 14 countries around the world.
