To support mentoring programs’ adoption of evidence-based practices, Mentor Canada conducted a literature review of the research relevant to the six processes involved in delivering such a program:

1. recruitment and screening mentors;
2. training;
3. matching mentors and mentees;
4. monitoring and supporting matches; and
5. closing the mentoring relationship.
